FACILITATING GROWTH OF CLINICAL RESEARCH.

You may join ISCR by becoming an Accredited Member Organisation (AMO) or by becoming an Individual Member.

Accredited Member Organization (AMO), Indian Society for Clinical Research.

Organizations will be accredited for membership of ISCR subject to the fulfilment of the criteria mentioned below and to approval by the Executive Committee/Operating Council of ISCR.

  • Current engagement in clinical research activities with commitment to ICH GCP as evidenced by written operating procedures specifying compliance to ICH GCP as a mandatory requirement and/or policies consistent with ICH GCP.
  • Adequate staffing to assure ability to conduct ICH GCP compliant studies.
  • All key technical managers and at least 50% of clinical research staff should qualify for individual membership of ISCR.
  • Existence of auditable systems for study monitoring, clinical supplies handing, quality assurance, documentation of training, and adverse event reporting and documentation, with at least 2 years’ operation in clinical research or related activities.

The joining fee for an AMOs is Rs 1,50,000/-. This is a one-time fee which goes towards the creation of a corpus fund for the society.

The annual membership fee is Rs 1,50,000/- only.

The cheque for Rs 3,00,000/- is payable to “Indian Society for Clinical Research”.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBER

Any clinical research professional engaged in clinical research activities with commitment to ICH GCP may become an Individual Member.

An Individual Member can choose between becoming a Life Member at a one time fee of Rs 5000/- or an Annual Member at an annual fee of Rs 1500/-

The cheque for Rs _____ is payable to “Indian Society for Clinical Research”.

AMOs Benefits

  • Accredited Member Organizations (AMOs) who do not have any outstanding dues to the Society will be entitled to 2 free individual memberships to enable AMO representation within the Society.
  • AMOs representatives are expected to form an AMO Council within the auspices of the Society to discuss and debate matters pertaining to AMOs.
  • The AMO council will elect/nominate two representatives to the Executive Committee of the Society.

Individual Member Benefits

  • Individual members interested in and capable of contributing towards the various activities and initiatives of the Society can be nominated to one the seven councils – Training Council, Regulatory opt/Council, Media/Events Council, Ethics Council, Clinical Data Management; Bio Statistics and Medical Writing Council, Investigator Council and Pharmacovigilance Council – thereby giving shape and direction to the mission and objectives of the Society. This cannot be offered to all members. It is by invitation only.
  • Individual members get priority in attending workshops, seminars and conferences organized by the Society and are given discount in the registration fees for Society events. Various events are arranged every year and members get an excellent opportunity of training and networking.
  • The three Regional Chapters – West, North and South – hold interactive meetings/round table discussions at Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore respectively. Individual members can attend and take part in these meets.
  • You will get a complimentary copy of “Perspectives in Clinical Research”, India’s first Journal on Clinical Research published in the country.
  • ISCR Members get invited to the ISCR Annual Awards event.
