Introduction to the ISCR Councils
ISCR has seven functioning councils which constitute the major activities of the Society. Each of the Councils has a Council Coordinator and Members who drive the respective agenda of the Councils, guided by the overall objectives and mission of the Society.
About ISCR Media Council
It has been close to two decade that India became part of the global clinical research fraternity. Yet there continues to be limited awareness about clinical research and its role and relevance in India. The Media Council strategically positions ISCR on key issues around clinical research in India and helps create widespread awareness about the clinical research.
The aims of the Media Council are to:
- Communicate a better understanding of clinical research in India and the regulatory environment it operates.
- Position ISCR as a spokesperson for clinical research in the country and communicate ISCR’s views and perspectives on clinical research.
- Develop and distribute communication collaterals on clinical research for the media and public at large.
- Support the requirements of ISCR and all its Councils in their awareness and communication objectives.
